About Us

Oak Hill Friends Meeting is a church filled with loving, caring people who seek to honor Christ with their lives. We strive to have inspiring worship, relevant teaching, compassionate outreach, and joyful fellowship. We invite you to join us, and we hope that you will sense the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus in our midst!

Nursery Facility is provided for young children

Children’s Moments:Each Sunday at the beginning of our worship service, the children gather on the front pew for a Christian message.

Children’s Church is held the second and fourth Sundays of the month during the adult worship service.

Puppets For The Master: The first Sunday of every month our puppet ministry shares in morning worship, intriguing both children and adults with a simple story of Christian living.

Unity Club: Our senior citizens meet the first Wednesday morning of each month. Activities include guest speakers, covered dish luncheons, bingo, and local trips. Everyone is welcome including members of the local community.

Crafting Club: meets on Monday nights to scrapbook, make cards, quilt, crotchet, needlepoint, etc. Come and learn a new craft or teach us your craft

USFW (United Society of Friends Women)unites all Friends women in Christian fellowship and service. Activities include ministries to shut-ins, High Point Community Clinic, and Friends Disaster Relief. The group also actively supports Missions Projects. Meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month at 9:30 am.

Our choir is always looking for people who enjoy praising the Lord in song. We meet for practice on Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. (exception: the third Tuesday practice is moved to Wednesday after monthly meeting). We have a great time making a joyful noise! Come sing with us —no try outs required!

Bells for Christ: Our hand bell choir meets the second and fourth Tuesdays’ of each month at 6:30 p.m. The bell choir plays for special events, as well as at area nursing homes.
